There are three main spheres of CSR addressed by Shah Apparels :
a) Factories are all comprehensively and continuously evaluated to ensure social compliance. Fabulous Sourcing monitors the welfare & working environment, facilities (medical, food & water, transport, childcare) and labor policies, ensuring optimal conditions for all those involved within the supply chain, with a zero tolerance on child labor and other poor practices. Fabulous Sourcing code of labor practice and comprehensive compliance manual can both be obtained upon request.
b) Shah Apparels unique management style & structure enables staff at all levels to raise ideas & concerns with senior management, and Shah Apparel’s offices provide unique working places taking into account needs & sensitivities with a wide range of facilities and comfortable environment. evaluations, discussions, motivational seminars and courses on energy & yoga help staff to raise levels of personal development. a strong recycling scheme, including minimizing paper wastage and recycling of items such as cans & bottles, is a part of Shah Apparel’s green policy regarding the environment.
c) Shah Apparels outreach programme contributes back to wider society through charitable monetary & in kind donations to various development agencies & NGOs.
We believe safe work place gives much confidence to the workers. Human rights, occupational health and safety are our main principal. We respect buyer’s code of conduct and always trying for the continuous improvement of the social standard of the workers. Workers opinion and suggestions are considered through workers welfare committee.
